 ed by Our Earthy Collective. This time we're heading to beautiful Glenbarr
 ow\, Co. Laois\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStep one: Grab a ticket!\n\nStep two: Join o

  bot-free\, scammer-free\, and safe WhatsApp community.)\n\nOur Earthy Col
 lective is a free-for-all\, volunteer-led\, community platform built arou
 nd shared values\, connection\, sustainability and collective action. It's
  an online gathering place to discover\, share\, connect and take action t
 ogether\, grounded here in Ireland and created for people who care about t
 he planet\, community and creating positive change.\n\nThese days\, it can
  often feel like we're all caring quietly in our own little corners\, scro
 lling endlessly\, worrying about the world\, and craving more meaningful c
 onnections. Our Earthy Collective exists to bring people back together aga
 in\, turn shared concern into shared action\, and remind us that even smal
 l actions feel more powerful when done collectively. 🧡\n\nAnd that's ex
 actly what these hikes are all about.\nThis Month's Adventure\nThis Septem
 ber\, we're heading to the stunning Glenbarrow Eco Walk in Co. Laois\, on
 e of the beautiful walking trails of the Slieve Bloom Mountains.\n\nThe Gl
 enbarrow Eco Walk is an approximately 8.5km circular trail through woodl
 and\, forest paths and roads\, taking us through the beautiful Glenbarrow 
 landscape and along the River Barrow. We'll encounter woodland\, waterfall
 s\, river scenery and plenty of opportunities to slow down and connect wit
 h nature. 🌲💧\n\nWe'll take our time\, enjoy the trail together and s
 oak up the early autumn atmosphere.\n\nAlong the way\, we'll also have a 
 light foraging experience\, taking the opportunity to notice and learn abo
 ut some of the edible and interesting plants growing around us. 🌿🍄\n
 \nAnd\, as always\, this isn't just about the hike.\n\nWe'll finish up wit
 h our signature vegan picnic &amp\; potluck\, so bring along your favouri
 te vegan dish\, snack\, fruit\, dessert\, or something delicious to share.
  Homemade or shop-bought\, sweet or savoury\, everything is welcome. 🥗
 ✨\n\nWe're also encouraging anyone who feels the call to bring along an
  instrument to do so\, and feel free to share a tune or two at the picni
 c!\n\nIt's a day to walk\, eat\, explore\, forage\, make music\, meet soun
 d people\, and enjoy being outdoors together. 🧡\n\nWhether you're vegan
 \, vegan-curious\, coming solo or bringing friends\, you'll be warmly welc

 ark\, Co. Laois (exact meeting details will be shared with ticket holders
  before the event).\n\n🥾 Distance: Approximately 8.5km\n\n⛰️ Dif
 ficulty: Strenuous. The official Glenbarrow Eco Walk is graded strenuous 
 and is recommended for people with higher-than-average fitness levels. Exp
 ect forest trails\, roads\, uneven ground and some climbs.\n\n🅿️ Par
 king: Available on site\n\n🚻 Toilets: Available on site\n\n🌿 For
 aging: A light\, informal foraging experience will take place during the 
 hike.\n\n🎶 Music: Feel free to bring an instrument and join in with s
 ome music after the hike!\n\n⏰ Please arrive by 10:50 AM so we're read
 y to begin the hike promptly at 11:00 AM sharp.\nCarpooling + WhatsApp Gr
 oup\nWe encourage attendees to organise lifts where possible and carpool t
 o the event.\n\nOur WhatsApp group is where we'll share important event up
 dates\, meeting information and a space to organise carpooling for the day

 cnic + Potluck\nAfter our hike\, we'll settle down together for our usual 
 vegan picnic and potluck. 🧺🥗\n\nPlease bring something vegan to eat 
 and share with the group\, whether that's a homemade dish\, a shop-bought 
 snack\, fruit\, sandwiches\, cake\, dessert\, or anything else you fancy.\
 n\nYou don't need to bring anything elaborate. The idea is simply to share
  food\, connect and enjoy some time together after the walk.\n\nIf you hav
 e a picnic blanket\, bring one along too!\nMusic + Good Vibes\nGot an inst
 rument?\n\nBring it! 🎶\n\nWe're inviting anyone who'd like to play musi
 c\, sing or simply join in to bring an instrument along.\nForaging\nAs par
 t of the day\, we'll incorporate a light and informal foraging experience
  into the hike. 🌿\n\nWe'll take some time to notice the plants and nat
 ural surroundings along the trail and learn a little about the wild foods 
 and flora we encounter.\n\nThis is intended as a gentle introduction rathe
 r than a formal professional foraging course.\n\nPlease do not consume any
  wild plant or mushroom unless you are completely certain of its identific

 k starts at Glenbarrow Car Park\, Co. Laois\, in the Slieve Bloom Mountai
 ns.\n\nThe trailhead is accessed from the Rosenallis area\, with Glenbarro
 w signposted from the R422. The official trail information identifies Glen
 barrow Car Park as the trailhead for the 8.5km Eco Walk.\n\nParking is ava
 ilable on site\, and toilets will also be available.\n\nWe encourage atten
 dees to organise lifts where possible and use the WhatsApp group to arrang
 e carpooling.\nImportant Trail Information\nThe Glenbarrow Eco Walk is an
  8.5km circular trail and is officially graded strenuous\, taking appro
 ximately three hours depending on fitness levels. The terrain includes for
 est trails and roads\, with some uneven and potentially challenging sectio
 ns.\n\nPlease make sure you're comfortable walking this distance and terra
 in before booking.\nSafety Note\nPlease note: This is a casual community h
 ike and not a professionally guided mountain hike. By attending\, you ackn
 owledge that you are participating at your own risk.\n\nPlease dress appro
 priately for the weather\, wear suitable footwear\, bring enough water and
  food\, know your limits\, and respect the trails and surrounding environm
 ent.\n\nForaging will be light and educational in nature. Do not consume
