Join us for the Forest Walk & Wander at the Freedom Forest in Greystones, Europe’s largest Miyawaki-inspired forest, now thriving with 40,000+ native trees.
This is your chance to walk among the trees you’ve helped fund and see the impact of reforestation firsthand. It’s also the only public visit opportunity this year.

This isn’t just any woodland. The Freedom Forest is now the largest Miyawaki-inspired forest in Europe, planted only two years ago and is already thriving. More than 40,000 native trees are racing skyward, creating a vibrant young ecosystem in the foothills of the Sugarloaf mountain. It also extends the Glen of the Downs, one of Ireland’s last ancient woodlands, standing as living proof of what we can achieve together.
