We grow as much as we can for your boxes on our organic farm in Galway. Everything we don’t grow ourselves is carefully sourced. We fill the gaps with produce from other Irish organic farms first, then from organic farms as close to home as possible. We never use airfreight. We also stock organic groceries and are always looking for the best plastic free options. We have a wide range of wholefoods, vegan groceries and more! Who We Are
We (Jenny & Kenneth Keavey) started Green Earth Organics in 2006. Our organic farm is situated 8 miles from Galway City. Originally the land was Kenneth’s grand-father’s and then his father’s and finally we took over the farm 14 years ago. We put the farm into conversion for organic status in 2004.
Currently we are farming on 40 acres of organically certified land. Another 10 acres is split between a wild life biodiversity area, native woodland forestry (7000 trees) and red clover/grassland. We are certified organic by the IOA (Irish
