Why Native Irish Trees?
Ireland was once one of the most forested countries in Europe, but today only 2% of native woodland remains. Planting native trees helps:

We're proud to partner with Reforest Nation, which plants only certified native Irish tree species sourced locally. That means they plant forests packed with up to 27 different native species — the widest variety in Ireland — rather than monoculture plantations. This diversity leads to richer habitats and up to 100× more biodiversity compared to conventional forestry. Every tree is planted in a way that mimics nature, not in boring straight rows.
Reforest Nation also extends its impact globally. For every native tree they plant here in Ireland, they fund an extra tree (or seedball) in places like Kenya or Madagascar, which helps restore critical ecosystems abroad. So you're contributing to Irish reforestation and global reforestation at the same time!
