Why These Events Matter
The Toy Library is Ireland’s first circular economy platform for toys, helping families reduce waste by keeping pre-loved toys in circulation and out of landfill. Every toy swapped helps create a more sustainable future for communities across Ireland
Our Swap&Play events are more than toy swaps; they are vibrant community experiences that bring together families, volunteers, local organisations, and sustainability advocates in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Volunteer With Us 
Volunteering at Swap&Play events is a rewarding opportunity to connect with like-minded people in your local community while supporting a meaningful environmental initiative.
Volunteers may assist with:
• Event setup and organisation
• Family check-in and welcome support
• Toy sorting and swap guidance
• Activity stations and eco-crafting areas
• Event clean-up and pack-down
Each volunteer is supported by an Event Manager and added to a dedicated WhatsApp group before the event. Volunteers are also invited to a short onboarding Zoom call beforehand to meet the team, understand their role, and feel fully prepared for the day.
